West and its madness
  

On one hand more and more Japanese are refraining from sex feeling there are better means of entertainment in life than sex. Sex entertainment they feel is full of side effects like treachery, responsibility and binding unlike other available entertainments in market. In contrast western people are more centered around sex only. Discussion is on how much sex and with how many. West has started to talk on open marriages. It means you are married but can have sex with anybody outside marriage. West is also talking of discussing with their children their sex life, make them sex aware. They want to be their teachers on sex education. A question comes to mind, by being so open with children on sex aren’t we disintegrating relationships? Isn’t it a prelude to encourage incest? Sex is an instinct which one learns on its own. No one teaches animal about sex. No one teaches baby how to suck milk and so on? Sharing everything with children in name of openness is fraught with dangers.

     Open marriage not only means sex with anybody but also means you really have no private life.  You will be sharing all things with the person with whom you share bed. A price for intimacy! Even bitch does not change its mate so easily as men want to do. What a tragedy for man? West which is by and large a Christian society indulging in this type of philosophy of life is totally ironical. Jesus Christ whom they pray in church had told them that even thinking of other women amounts to adultery. Church which should be doing something regarding this is a mute spectator to these events. They are more bothered about how to lure a poor man to Christianity by offering him some lollipops than setting society in proper order. They spent whole energy on conversions, stopping Gay marriages and other trivial issues. They talk against abortions but do nothing to stop teen age pregnancies. Isn’t it job of church to provide guide lines for a healthy and moral based society?

In the name of freedom lot is being done to the detriment of society. Women are being touted as tools of entertainment –“use and throw policy” , a policy being adopted  for other commodities. What a disgusting approach? Women seem to be falling for this approach of men towards them. They do it for publicity and easy money for which women seem to be thirsty these days. It is interesting here to mention that when humanity was evolving on planet, a code of conduct was simultaneously  evolved for better and smooth life style. Whole idea was to have peaceful and coexistent life. Besides religious obligations man was told how to conduct himself in family, society and humanity at large. Hence came code of conduct for marriages, upbringing of children, and responsibility towards elders and so on. Even a dress code was suggested to minimize sexual adventures as it is well known that man is a social beast. Slowly this code of conduct got eroded in name of freedom to satisfy carinal desires of men.

Big question comes, should we give absolute freedom to man to fulfill his selfish/carinal desires? Give a man absolute freedom, there will chaos in society. Man will say, “I was borne naked, let me walk naked”. He will treat marriage purely to satisfy his lust and will ignore responsibilities attached with it. Today institution of marriage has been replaced by Live in relationship attitude where in you fulfill your desires without any responsibility and liability. Statistically around 47% Americans are unwed [live in relationship] , 34% teenagers pregnant before 20 years and by age 19 over 50% had sex. Wife swapping done by some segment of elite population. Rape incidence 27.3/1 lac population unlike Asia where it is reported less [China 1.8/1 lac. These statistics are glaring examples of side effects of so called free society. Day by day man is feeling that premarital/ extra marital sex is no issue. They feel sex is like other senses and variety is desirable. Beauty now means how much erotic appeal you have. It has nothing to with inner beauty of person. Today Skin deep beauty is more important than beauty of mind which is left for thinkers to debate.

Today we have means for facelift and breast lift. There are people who are talking of thigh gap as a measure to assess beauty. Day is not far off when there will be talk of designer breasts and nipple and designer genitalia. Various types of perversions are being encouraged by these so called freelance thinkers. Historically when man/society indulged in sexual frenzy, society ended in catastrophe. Take the case Sodom and Gomorrah. After ww1 Germany which was devastated by war ended up in Sex explosion.

It is an established fact that sex is needed for bondage and breeding. This sex has got be in measured quantity and with responsibility. Using sex just a tool of entertainment is fraught with dangers and self-destruction. Sex has been cause of fall of various empires in history and will continue to play such role if it goes unchecked. It is here role of religion and civic society comes to put society back on rails, otherwise religion will lose its relevance and civic society its meaning.
