RECENT Advances in Medical Science

Medical science like other sciences is making big strides in diagnosis and management of patients. The day is not far off when a urine in bath room will fore warn of disease. Bath room will have chip which will do your medical checkup. Brain can be connected to Laptop and by sheer thought, one can send mail. Dream recording may be possible in future.

Likewise Biotechnology has made long strides. A living cell is used as a block from which tissues are generated that are highly cellular and 3 Dimensional. Bio printing enables biology and engineering to achieve the goal of fabricating 3Dtissues that recapitulate key  elements of native tissue, by constructing the tissues from tiny 3D multicellular building blocks, instead of using preformed porous scaffolding, the resulting tissues have a tissue like cellular density. These architecturally defined living tissues are effective tools of research. Liver tissue, Bone, Small airway, vascular conduit, Sk muscle, Cardiac tissue to name a few have been fabricated by now.

3D bio printing will enable tissue engineering by its ability to create complex human tissues. It involves building layer by layer three dimensional object designed on CAD program. Ultimate objective of it is replacement of Organs. Currently all bio printers are experimental.  Its uses are:-

1. Patients cells used to fabricate organ.

2. Add cells directly to body.

3. Spray cells on wound to help healing.

4. Key hole bio printers may help in organ repair during surgery.

5. Face printers:--Person could down load face lift and apply it on his face. Face patches may be used for perpetual Youth.

6. With synthetic Organs fabricated, donor wait will be thing of past.

7. Repair of Organs in future possible.

8. Creation of crown, bridges and dentures in Dentistry, making prosthesis for lost limbs.

In 3D printing a 3Dimensional object is made from a digital model. It is achieved by using an additive process. Ist stage is laying out computer aided design (CAD) so that a virtual blue print of object you want to print is made. Program then divides Object into digital cross sections so that printer is able to build it layer by layer. Cross sections act as guide to printer. Finished design is sent to 3Dprinter, you choose a specific material (Rubber, Plastic etc.).Material is transferred from Printer on to a platform. Once printer is commanded to print----it pulls bio plastic filament through a tube and in to an extruder, which heats it up and deposits it through a small hole and on to build plate. Then 3DPRINTER MAKES PASSES OVER THE PLATFORM depositing layer on top of layer of material to create the finished product.Throughout process, the different layers are automatically fused to create a single 3D object in a dots per inch resolution. So far, tissues created have measured a maximum of 500 microns in thickness, with a width of a few mm. Liver cells fabricated produced Albumin, Fibrinogen along with bio synthesis of Cholesterol. It will take over a decade to fabricate a full Organ at present speed but this can change with further advances in science.

Patients in future could receive 3D printed Organ made from his own cells. Implantation of Lab grown skin in burn patient has been done with some success.

 Trachea and bladder implant have been tried with good success.  These body parts were grown by using scaffolds and living human cell.

Future Medicine:--

1. Anti-bleeding gel—Vetigel is being tried to prevent bleeding. If successful it will help in managing cases with bleeding disorders. It will prove to be a boon for neurosurgeon in managing deep seated bleeding in Brain.

2. Magnetic levitation:--By using nano magnets. It will help in creating artificial organs.

3. Artificial cell mimicry: ---In this synthetic gel will take place of cytoskeleton of a cell and when applied to skin, will replace damaged cell. In practical sense it will allow healing but will not allow bacteria in.

4. Brain cells from urine: -- Biologists in China have taken waste cells from urine and modified them with the use of retroviruses to create progenitor cell which body uses as the building blocks for Brain cells.

Embryonic stem cells have been used in past but their side effect is they were more likely to develop tumours after transplant.

5. Electric under wear:--60000 people die of bed sores and resulting infections every year in USA. In this device delivers small electric charge every ten minutes. It activates muscles and increases circulation in that area, effectively eliminates bed sores.

6. Pollen vaccine: ---Goal is to crack into pollen to remove allergen, then injecting vaccine in to empty space left behind. This Vaccine can be now given orally as hard cover of pollen is not digestible by humans. By this method injectable Vaccines could be given orally, thereby saving pricks in a child. Incidentally, this research is done by an Indian doctor in USA.

7. Printed bones: ----Using 3D PRINTERS AND USING A HYBRID MATERIAL ONE CAN MAKE REAL BONE. So in future this model could be used to replace fractured bone. There will be no need to plaster site. Real bone will grow up around model. Once process complete, model disintegrates.

8. Brain damage repair: ---A neuro modulator stimulator on tongue is being tried which will stimulate specific nerve regions on tongue to hopefully focus the Brain on repairing the nerves that are damaged.

9. Human powered equipment: -- In this human generated electricity to power a range of medical devices is being tried.

10. DNA Legos:--DNA strand is being used to build anything. A DNA robot that follows instructions has been made

11. Nano Technology: ---

a. Plasma Scalpels: -- Pressurized steam of Argon through a narrow channel where it acquires an electric charge, transforming it in to a blade of plasma travelling at 1500moles/H is being tried surgically. plasma cutters use  relatively cold plasma, hot enough to cauterize. Plasma causes neutrally charged O2 and N2 IN AIR TO GET ELECTRICALLY CHARGED. The elements then form Ozone which can kill bacteria as well.

b. Bioengineers are trying to connect prosthetic arms and hands directly to Nervous system.

c. Artificial alternative to DNA.

d. Pace makers powered by own blood. Genome sequencing could find thousands of disorders which are not discernible now. Stem cell therapy in Brain damage, Heart damage, cancer and Spinal cord injury are some other advances in medical field.

e. Nanobots are being created to target cancer cell. Nano stars are being used to deliver drugs. Scientists are working on Nanoparticles that can synthesize potential cancer drugs. Nano fibers are being used in surgical dressings, artificial organ components and in material used in implants.

Combination of data analytics, Life style sensor data and metabolic diagnostics will let ageing seniors live healthy and longer.

Upcoming trends:--

Functional MRI is being used to track areas of Brain that are activated by tracing the speed at which cells metabolize glucose. This research is being used to collect information in memory disorders, Brain cancer, depression etc.

Minimally invasive and Robotic techniques have revolutionized surgery. Ever heard of removing diseased kidney through natural orifice (through vagina by endoscope).

Targeted therapy for cancer, Stem cell research be it embryonic or adult stem cell are other advances in medicine.

1.       Artificial lymph node is being developed. This may be initially used as to boost immunity. Doctors later could use these lymph nodes to target cancer cells.

2.       Asthma sensor: -- A device is being developed to analyze breath which can detect asthma at a very early stage.

3.       Cancer spit test: ----In this proteins of cancer cells are allowed to react with dye on sensor. This will help in cancer detection and subsequent management.

4.       Biological Pace maker:-- Pace maker genes expressed in stem cells are injected into damaged heart, once successful there will be no place for metallic Pace makers.

5.       Prosthetic feedback: -- Presently patients with prosthesis do not know/feel its position. Now a device has been made which gives feedback of an amputee’s limb position.

6.       Nerve Regenerator: --- A Nano gel is injected which assembles itself into a scaffold of Nanofibers. Peptides expressed in fibers instruct Stem cells that would normally form scar tissue to produce cells that encourage nerve development.

7.       Stabilizing Insoles: --- This is used to diagnose balance problems in elderly before falls occur.

8.       Autonomous Wheel chair: --- This chair learns about its environment by listening as patient identifies locations.

9.       Gastro intestinal Liner: ---This is being tried in obese people. An Endobarrier is routed through endoscope. It lines first two feet of small intestines where from most food is absorbed.

10.   Speech restorer: --- This is for patients who have lost speech. In this device detects neuronal signals from brain to Vocal cords-----transmit impulses to a computer on cell phone which produces speech.

11.   Absorbable Stent: --- This stent is of absorbable material which starts dissolving after 6 months, fully absorbed by 2 years leaving behind healthy artery.

12.   Muscle stimulators, Smart contact lenses and smart pills are other innovative ideas.

13.   Liver scanner: --- This is used to detect liver disease at a very early stage. Elasticity of Liver is measured by using Ultrasound

14.   Nano scale adhesive to seal perforation in Stomach and seal wounds is also being tried.

Other notable inventions in medicine are Portable Dialysis unit, walking simulator, Rocket powered Arm, measures to lengthen limbs, Universal red blood cells which can be given to any recipient and automatically dispensed medicines.

It is quite obvious from above that medical science has advanced in leaps and bounds in last two decades taking full advantage from other scientific advances.

Science-----Truth or an Ideology

Ever since man set foot on this planet, he has been searching for Truth of this Universe and its Creation. Since ancient times he postulated various theories regarding it. Religions which came at later date also tried to solve this riddle in their own way. Man started worshipping Sun, Rain, Wind etc., forces affecting his life but not under his control. His worshipping of stars gave birth to a religion. Thus started Idol worship. His continuous pursuit for knowing truth of this Universe led him from Idol worship to non-idol worship and from multiple Gods to single God. To authenticate religious ideas various stories were added to religious manuscripts.

Science which is just a few centuries old started dismantling religious beliefs on the pretext of lack of proof of these beliefs. Science came up with its own version of Creation.It stated there is no role of God in creation of this Universe. Science stated that this Universe came into existence from a Primal matter. According to it this Primal matter had a Big bang 13.7 billion years ago .According to this Big bang theory this Universe had a beginning. Time and space also had beginning. This Primal matter was later labeled Singularity. This Singularity did not explode as is commonly believed; instead it started expanding and cooling. This process of expansion is continuing even today. Movement of Stars was explained by various physical laws including Gravity. Newton, father of gravitation laws stated that masses in Universe attract other masses with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. This science of law continued to be believed till Theory of Relativity came. Theory of relativity attributed to great Einstein revolutionized laws of gravity told by Newton. Theory of relativity said that gravitation is an attribute of curved space time instead of being due to a force propagated between bodies. According to Einstein energy and momentum distort space time in vicinity. It is quite obvious from this that science is changing its stance with new finds and knowledge.

With advent of Quantum physics [physics at subatomic level] science has come out with new ideas. It now says that matter has no locality. Matter exists if we observe it. It confirms that Universe we see is an illusion [3D hologram]. All matter is but energy which is in vibration. There are parallel Universes with different laws of physics. It also says from nothing came Consciousness, Energy, Space,Time, Mind, and later Matter. It also says that this Universe is Creation of Intelligence. It also admits that predictions of science are probabilistic. It is strange that science on hand says that Universe is result of Intelligence yet same is not compatible with its mathematical expression of this Universe. So science today is in dilemma. It calls religious assertions bereft of proof yet acknowledges that its assertions are probabilistic.

Once Universe was formed after Big Bang, scientists started dating events on planet Earth. Science says life of Earth is 4.5billion years, life on earth2.5billion and Man on earth just 200,000 years old. This dating of events is radiometric, using Uranium, Potassium and even Carbon.

The concept of science that from nothing came matter goes against scientific assertion [from nothing cannot come something]. There are other problems with Big Bang theory. Why is matter unequally distributed in Universe, who made physical laws, why some stars move in retrograde motion[this is against law of conservation of angular movement] are some problems Big Bang theorists cannot  explain.

Did life start on Earth itself or was triggered by someone? When Darwin in1829 published, “Origin of species” scientific community pounced on it despite its short comings because idea suited to their Ideology as it eliminated role of God. Evolutionary theory is based on two principlesi,e Mutation and natural selection, both not observed. Evolutionary theory meant that Man is descendent of Apes.

Question now comes to mind, is Evolutionary theory correct? Religions believe there is a Creator and Creation is spontaneous but science says there is no Creator and life has come in stages i,e simple life evolved into complex life. Similarities in early stages of development of species led Darwin to believe in common ancestry? Darwin himself had said that, “If my theory be true, there must have been numberless intermediate species”. No intermediate species fossils have been found till today, this goes against evolution. Graptolites believed to be long extinct have been spotted in south pacific. Coelacanth fish believed extinct 325 mil years ago has been spotted in ocean in 1960, 142mil old fossil of a bird has been found in China. There is a crow sized bird in Albuquerque museum. These finds go against the spirit of evolution. It is interesting to note that 95% fossil records are marine and invertebrates, 4.5% of plants and only 1% of vertebrates. Presence of Topsy Turvy fossils also are points against evolution. Dinosaurs  believed to have died 65mil years back yet their presence is recorded in various civilizations.Calfornia gold miners discovered human fossils which Dr Witney dated 50 mil in age. Journal of Geology 1862 published an article wherein humans remains enmeshed in rocks were dated 300mil old. Human foot prints were found in Mexico, Arizona, and Illinois---250 mil old. In Turkmenistan dinosaur tracts along human prints have been found. At Angor wat temple in Cambodia there is a picture of Stegosaurs carved, Dinosaur figurines buried at foot of El Toro Mountain have been found. In INCA painting dinosaurs are shown attacking men. Records of Greek historian Herodotus and Jewish historian Josephus describe flying reptiles in ancient Egypt. If dinosaurs died 65mil years back, how could so many civilizations know exactly what they looked like? Answer, they drew what they saw. Is dinosaur story a case of knowledge pilfering by scientists of today to suite their interests? There are 10 proven dinosaur sites of which Dinosaur valley park, Burdick track and provincial park Canada are famous.Presence of complex creatures Precambrian and Cambrian period also go against evolutionary theory. Darwin theory can not explain how species originated. It has suggested mechanism how a species can get stronger and better. It throws no light on how a species can  change in to new one.Most of the species have left no records. Out of  30 billion species ,there are fossils of just 250 ,000 species only.

 It has not been possible to change one species in to another despite all scientific advances. Science has not been able to produce life out of that which was not life. Is evolution an Ideology? Fossils found contradict it.Arthur Keith while writing forward for 100 th edition of Darwin’s book wrote, “Evolution is not proven nor is provable”. Crick ,co discoverer of DNA suggested earth was deliberately seeded with life by intelligent Aliens.

When one goes to dating of fossils one notices that it is done by radio metrics using isotopes of Uranium, Potassium and Carbon. Carbon14 which has half-life of 5730 years cannot be used beyond 40000---60000 years with accuracy because of its half-life. Uranium is very useful in dating. By radiometric dating age of rock can be found. In rocks are fossils hence can be indirectly dated as fossils as such contain no isotope. It is igneous rocks which have isotope. Fossil cannot form in igneous rock as it is very hot. Fossils form instead in Sedimentary rocks. This means there is bound to be some inaccuracy in fossil dating. Even renaming of some fossils has put evolutionists in disrepute, example:--

“”Nautilus Pompilius is Cymatoceras Texanum of fossils ,Mush room coral is Cyclolites Undulata and Globin Shark is  Scapanorynchus Mitsukurina of fossil”.

CONCLUSION:-

Is science on the side of truth or religion both having divergent view points on Creator and Creation? If one listens to young Earth Creationist who want you to believe in Bible literally, this world is just 6000 years old, created by God. This is despite the fact that we have been able to find human civilizations as old as 5000—7000BC. Science tells us there is no God but believes in some intelligence behind this Creation. It also admits its assertions are probabilistic. Evolutionary theory of Darwin has many loop holes. Not finding of intermediate species fossils is nagging problem for evolutionists. Even fossil dating is confusing. Is it not right time for west to look to East and learn from its wisdom?. VEDIC culture which flourished in India long before west came out of darkness has some answers to scientific queries. Bhagwat Purana gives not only an account of details of Cosmology but even gives details of Creation [Metaphorically]. Time as 4^th dimension which west started to believe in Twentieth century was known to Vedantists long back [3000BC]. Vedantists talked of measurement of Time, Time travel and even said that this world in which we live is an illusion [MAYA]. Science also now tells that this world could be a 3D hologram.Puranas also talk of time flowing at different rates for different observers. It also talks of relativity of time and space, a fact acknowledged by science hardly a few decades back.Puranas also say that physical laws are intrinsic to the Universe and these also evolve, a mystery still baffling scientists even today. Is n’t Purana knowledge  ahead of its time and present science?

Sri Krishna in holy Bhagvat Gita says,” I am not in space, space is in me”. Science also says now that “SPACE is in Singularity and not vice versa”. Time travel for science today is far distant hope but Vedantists did travel in space not in any vehicle but by Sadhana [Meditation]. There are dozens of books available in India wherein we are told how Rishi’s [Hindu scientists] travelled in space/ Galaxies. There is a book called Agasthya Purana  where author tells us that a man can dissolve into 5 elements by his will at particular focal point, travel in space, comeback and reform at same focal point:--.

INDIAN HERITAGE AND SECULARISM

Nations allover world are known for their culture, civilization, books and philosophy they gave to world. It is endeavor of every nation to preserve and protect its heritage. India must be sole country in world where no attempt has been made in past or is being made now to preserve and propagate its heritage. Instead there is a systematic attempt to disown its past, thanks to western so called Indologists. In this attempt they are being helped by brain washed pseudo scholars from India whose total knowledge of India is derived from reading western books. Most of these scholars have never read original scriptures which are in Sanskrit, a language which they don’t know. Their opinion on Indian scriptures is based on English translation of these books which has been done by western writers with ulterior motives.

After fall of Gupta Empire India went in to political turmoil. There ensued regional/factional fights which gave birth to numerous states. National spirit advocated and cherished by Chanakya was replaced by greed and selfishness. India as big nation lost its momentum and forgot too of its heritage. How could a warrior from Gazni  with a few hundred soldiers plunder Som NathTemple not once but multiple times? Why was he not stopped by Indian rajas  who outnumbered him? Reason greed and no national spirit of these Rajas, yet we praise some of them even today. Why we eulogize these rajas today is mind boggling? Taking advantage of chaotic conditions Muslims followed by British came here and ruled us. They brought their ideology and culture and forced them on us. Result was that our heritage got marginalized. Lot of scriptures were destroyed. Even translation of some books was done with their own interpretations resulting in loss of wisdom of those books. Books started coming out with blessing of then rulers telling people that India had no glorious past, whatever is in India is due to foreigners. A THEORY of Aryan invasion was invented, who came from nowhere and settled in India. Even a time frame of various events after Aryan invasion was put in.Since there  were still significant Indian classics namely Upanishads,Vedas,Puranas and other literary material available, a theory that these books were mythologies with no historicity was invented. Philosophy in these books was totally ignored. It is only after finds of Mohanjo Daro were available that these indologists accepted that India had two civilizations in past, namely Indus Valley Civilization and Vedic Civilization. Now they started dating these books. Vedas were given date of 300BC, even though there is enough evidence of their antiquity. Some scholars date Vedas 3000BC.This literary bluff of Aryan invasion and marginalization of India’s literature worked very well, so much so that Indians started doubting own past heritage. British rulers incorporated English in educational system to the detriment of local language. Sanskrit, main language of Holy Scriptures was demonized. No educational institution was allowed to teach Sanskrit, and scriptures. Our culture and traditions were declared superstitions, our classics were labeled Myths with no authencity.Net result of this was that not only our past was marginalized but our classics were dumped. In west biblical literal interpretation is respected but literal interpretation of puranas is labeled fanatism.  Indian social customs are being internationalized with help from some greedy Indians. There has been no south Asian movement in western universities despite having significant south Asian population. So much has been brain washing that many times an Indian feels ashamed to call himself an Indian.

Hallmark of any good education is based on classics. West starts with study of ancient Greek and Semitic philosophy before moving to Roman and modern. But in India where old classics are being ignored, our students instead of learning about Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas and other literary material are asked to read western classics, Shakespeare instead of Kalidas, Roman and Greek civilizations. Not only are they deprived of vast wisdom which is stored in our classics but are being brain washed about western superiority. With no educational institution offering courses in Indian classics our youth go out to read about them. Scholars coming out of these institutions only do what their sponsors want them to do. This marginalization of our heritage in our educational institutions has led to further decay of our values and beliefs. Result is we have self-alienated cynical youth who run to west for degrees to get gainfully employed. There is no desire left in them to pursue/research old Indian classics as it will need hard work plus it   will displease their mentors.

It was hoped in independent India this trend will stop but it has instead continued. Ignoring of heritage has become hallmark of India’s secularism. India’s marginalization of its past heritage in independent India is due to fact that our leaders were west educated. These leaders had no knowledge about Indian classics. They too judged India by its continued traditions which by this time had got distorted and at times irrelevant. They incorporated many western ideas in our constitution to the detriment of nation’s interests. India was declared a secular state but this secularism needs to be defined. It meant all religions in India could flourish, could propagate their ideology, and even get funds from government. But this was not true for Hinduism which is 75% of population. Propagating of Hindu philosophy/Vedic culture was declared to be against constitution. Indian intellectuals including journalists became cheer leaders of this constitutional declaration. Anyone who wrote against Indian classics, culture and traditions was honored. Anyone who spoke against this constitutional anomaly was branded fanatic. In India huge chunks of land are owned by church, donated to them by then British rulers. You can go to Haj on govt subsidy in India [an unislamic practice] but no subsidy for Mansorvar yatra. All religious places in India belonging to minorities are run by them but religious places belonging to Hindus are run by trusts with govt officials as its members. Gross indulgence in religious affairs of Hindus, permitted by constitution? Many a times you hear/read articles in India telling masses about property owned by temples but no such write up on churches/mosques. In USA, a democracy there is no interference by govt in church affairs. In India there is a separate personal law for Muslims but no such law exists in USA. NASA tells us they have found bridge[Setu] connecting India and SriLanka of ancient times.   Indian govt instead of sending a team  on fact finding mission  files a affidavit in Indian court negating NASA.

A democracy is supposed to protect its people from any eventuality but not in India. When ethnic cleansing started in Kashmir Indian govt remained mute spectator to this human catastrophe---India’s secularism? Post independent India’s secularism suites its corrupt/communal leaders but not its Masses and nation.

Science and Religion

Ever since man set his foot on earth he has been probing his self and nature to know about the Creation and its Creator. Since ancient times he postulated various theories regarding it. Religions which came much later also postulated their theories regarding it .Now let us examine both schools of thought in detail.

Science:-

Science says Universe came into existence as a singularity around 13.7 billion years ago. This singularity did not appear in space; rather space began to appear in singularity. This statement is similar to one given in holy Bhagvat Gita by Lord Krishna---“I am not located in space, space is located in me”.

According to Big bang theory this Universe had a beginning so did time and space. There was no explosion as is commonly believed. This singularity    expanded and cooled, going from very very very small  and very very very hot to size and temperature of current Universe. Big bang model is based on paradigm [Friedmann—Levuaitre expanding space time paradigm]. Dr  Gentry who opposed this model citing various fallacies in this model, instead gave his model based on Einstein’s static—space time paradigm.

Science confirms today that reality we see is an illusion. Our 3d Universe is a hologram. It is brain which receives signals, organizes them into a hologram, which we project outside and call it a reality. Matter does not exist, what exists is intelligence. This world is a tiny tiny frequency range with an infinite energy range. At deeper level [subatomic] everything dissolves and what remains is just relationship. It is an act of Consciousness which creates building blocks of which Universe is made. Consciousness is programming language of this Universe. From nothing came Consciousness, Energy, Space,  Mind, Time and later Matter. All matter is nothing but energy which is in vibration.

There are parallel Universes. There could be a Universe without intelligence. Quantum physics states Universe is creation of intelligence. Quantum mechanics showed that predictions of science are probabilistic. Physicists agree that we encounter a definite reality but there is no consensus amongst them as to how this basic fact is compatible with theory’s mathematical expression.

String theory means different Universes with different laws of physics. Having stated how Universe came into being scientists started time framing various events. It is obvious from this scientific expression that it all started with a Bang. Atoms formed Matter and then matter turned from simple to complex structures.

Scientists give Earth life of 4.5billion and life 2.5billion years. Archeologists estimate that Dinosaurs lived for 135Million years [231.4Ml---66Mil years]. Man’s ancestor Homoerectus came around 1.3 mil years ago. Homosapiens, fore runner of man appeared 400,000 years----250000 years ago. Since its fossils were recovered from Africa it was postulated that man started his journey on this earth from Africa. Archeologists say present day man appeared around 200,000 years back only. He migrated from Africa 70,000 years back, reached Eurasia by 40,000 years and to America by 14500 years.He developed culture/language/ behavior around 40,000 years back and Civilizations came around 7000---10000 back only.

Darwin In 1859 published” Origin of species” giving birth to evolutionary theory. This meant our ancestors were Primates/ Apes. This appealed to intellectuals of time as it eliminated hand of God in making of man .Our historical and Archeological data as on today does not take us beyond 7000---10000 years. This means man is newcomer on this planet as per science. Science in west is just a few hundred years old [Newton 1642AD]. Timing of Darwin’s theory [1859] fitted in to scientific thinking of the day as it eliminated hand of super natural powers in making of man. Now scientists made a detailed chart of events that occurred on this planet including details of human evolution based on random and scanty fossil finds. Man was declared to have first appeared on this earth in Africa because we found fossil find of Homo sapiens in Africa. It is very interesting to note that man did not know that Dinosaurs lived on this planet till 1824 AD .It is in 1824 William Buckland and in 1841 by Richardson reported their fossil finds of Dinosaurs. Once fossil finds of Dinosaurs became public, scientists remained busy with rewriting history of Man including Dinosaurs. We have now voluminous literature on Dinosaurs than on evolution of man. To the reader it may be pointed that full fossil remains of Dinosaurs are still a rarity. What we have unearthed is pieces of fossil remains of dinosaurs but we were clever enough not only to reconstruct whole creatures from them but also a variety of them too.

Regarding this evolutionary theory lots of articles have come up in past but were a minority group. Lately, new articles against this theory have cropped up . Though still in minority but at least now their view point is being heard. Michael Cremo in his books Forbidden Archeology, Human devolution talks against Darwin’s theory. In a programme by NBC IN 1996, mysterious origin of man a new theory on man’s origin is being postulated. Calfornia Gold miners discovered human fossils which Dr Witney dated 50 million in age. Journal of Geology 1862 published an article where in human remains enmeshed in rocks were found and dated 300 million years of age. Human foot prints were found in Mexico, Arizona, and Illinois---250million old. Human skulls in Pliocene strata and Precambrian layers have been found.

In Turkmenian plateau, Turkey dinosaur tracts along human prints have been found. At Angkor wat temple there is a picture of Stegosaurs carved in to ancient Cambodian temple at Taprohm. In 1925 at acambaro,north of Mexico city dinosaur figurines buried at foot of ELTORO mountain have been found. In Inca painting dinosaurs are shown attacking men. Records of Greek historian Herodotus and Jewish historian Josephus describe flying reptiles in ancient Egypt and Arabia. Old human settlements dating 125000BC have been unearthed in Chechnya.

All these finds debunk evolutionary theory. If dinosaurs died 65mil years back, how did so many civilizations knew exactly what they looked like--------answer, they drew what they saw. Even American English dictionary did not  contain word “dinosaur” till 1891AD.

Is dinosaur story a case of knowledge pilfering by scientists of today? Evolution has no solution for origin of life. It has not been possible to change one species to another despite all modern advances. Science has not been able to produce life out of that which was not life. Evolution at the best is an ideology, not a scientific perspective. Fossil finds and human artifacts of millions of years put nail in to Darwinian Theory. In view of new finds and knowledge it becomes imperative for us to revisit theory of evolution and do more research to prove or disapprove evolution.

Religion:--

Now let us talk what religions have to say about it. Religious theology on this matter is totally at variance with scientific view. While in science there is no role of God in creation, whole religious theology is based on God----Creator. Description of God in different religions is different. Some religions believe in personal God, others believe in impersonal God. Even attributes and details of Creation are different in different religions but what is common in all is that, there is only one God who creates this world and world beings.

There are broadly two religious schools, one which have come from west Asia i,e Jerusalem, Arabia  and other which have come from Asia. Firstly, let us talk about west Asian religions namely Christianity, Judaism and Islam; these religions not only have common ancestry but some common places too. They share common knowledge/wisdom vis-à-vis God, Creation and Man. Judaism out of this was first to come. let us now share their view point on this subject---“-Creation”.

Jews believe in one God who created this Universe in 6 days. It is on 6^th day God created Man followed by plants and animals. Genesis—holy book:-“-God created world in 6 days .God shaped man from dust, places him in garden of Eden, breathes his breath into him who becomes a living being—Man .God creates Eve from man’s body. “Genesis affirms in monotheism, borrowing themes from Mesopotamia mythology but adapting them to Israel’s belief in one God. Genesis was composed around 700-600BC. Yahweh/the gods”, first created a man to serve him/them, then animals and vegetation” In Egyptian and Mesopotamian mythologies the Creator—god has to do battle with sea monsters before he can make Heaven and Earth. In Genesis, Tanin[sea monsters] are simply created by God

Man is created in image of God [Genesis1:27]. Suggestion that man is created in the image of God means man is God’s representative on Earth and can develop relationship with Him. It also means man was made in the image   and likeness of God. This also means he has essential qualities of personality which are Intellect, Feeling and Will. Soul according to bible refers to psychological aspect of man and spirits refers to his God consciousness. In Genesis 2 Eden garden is depicted with geographical location in Jerusalem, though at other places it is shown bordering Earth and Heaven.

Time frame of creation:-

According to James Ussher, bishop earth was created on Sunday, 23rd October 4004BC.

Dr Morris of institute for creation research, creation is just 6000—15000 years old only.

According to young earth creationist who wants you to believe bible literally, creation is just 6000 years old. Old earth creationists are vague about dates, talk of millions of years.

Various dates of creation mentioned are:-

It is obvious from dates that creation is not older than 7500 years old. There are lot of variations regarding these dates depending on who is writing and what is he making reference point.

Science says man on earth for last 200,000 years, got language etc. 500,00 years back, yet we have not been able to dig out civilized man beyond 10,000 years archeologically till today

It is clear from above that science and western religions have divergent views on the subject i.e. both Creator and Creation. Now let us turn our eye to Asia, notably India what it has to say about it

India produced a mighty culture and religion in past. Such is greatness of this culture and religion that despite it having started in antiquity its practices and philosophy is being continued by its natives even today. Religion it gave birth to is called Hinduism. It has over900 million followers in world and is third largest religion of world today leaving Judaism far behind.

Hinduism:-

It has its origin in India. It is extremely difficult to date it as this religion evolved over a period of time unlike other religions which nearly came in one piece. Hinduism believes in one God and that too impersonal. Culture with which it is associated is called Vedic Civilization. Various dates have been proposed for this civilization ranging from 5700BC—1400BC. Sanderson Beck in” literature of India” gives date of 12000—10000 years for Ramayana and Mahabarata.Its religious books are Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas and highly acclaimed Bhagvat Gita.Vedas were compiled in 300BC as per some Indologists. Some date Vedas to as far as 3000 BC.

According to Hindu philosophy God by his own will created this Universe. Creation according to it is of two types---partial and total. Just like science, it says” space is in Creator, Creator is not in space”.

Its cosmology goes back to billions of years like science. It believes life of Universe is 100 Brahma [personal god] days. Each Universal day/night is 4320,000,000 years Each brahma day has 1000 cycles and each cycle has 71 divisions. Each division passes through 4 Yugas [time periods]. Each Yuga has 14 Manvantras. We are in 57^th year of Brahma.

According to Vedas there are 14 planetary levels in this Universe [String theory of science also talks of multiple universes]. Top most universe is called Satya Loka and at bottom is Patala Loka. Earth is at 7^th planetary level [Bhurloka]. Below theses 14 planetary systems is Pitra Loka[world where departed Souls of earth go] .Narkha loka[Hell] is next   to it .It also says that Consciousness of souls in Narkha loka is squeezed to extreme low levels.

Sun travels 95,100,100 yojanas at the speed of 2000 yojanas and two Krosas in a moment. When converted, traversing distance becomes 760,800,000 miles and speed of one revolution comes to be 16004 miles/sec which is very close to modern science. Bhagwat Purana also talks of elementary time, Greater time [time which covers unmanifest aggregate of the elementary particles]. It gives fascinating account of time measurement and time travel.

It talks of average life of human is 100 years. One day and night of Satya Loka is 8,640,00 years on earth. ONE YEAR OF Deva[god] is=360 years of humans. Vedic physics says time is a subtle energy which manifests before cosmic manifestation. Time controls movement of Universe. This Universe is multidimensional [64] with many subdivisions. Since humans perceive only 3 dimensions hence no access to other dimensions of this Universe. A yogi can achieve access to other dimensions by sadhana[meditation]. He can even transgress time. Reader should analyze these observations of Vedantists to modern scientists who have propounded String theory, multi-dimensional universe and time travel. Vedantists even talk, matter having two forms----manifest and unmanifest. Compare it with theories of Black hole and dark matter of science. Vedic treatises also talk of space travel, telepathy, weapons made through Mantras, space travel and about extra-terrestrial beings.

Ancestor of man as per puranas is Manu [Adam of Judaism]. Man is combination of matter, subtle [intelligence] and Consciousness [Soul]. Man has been going through 4 yugas[ satya,treta,dwarpara, kali].We are in Kali yuga at present, which is 5089 years old. Ultimate aim of life is to meet super- consciousness [Parmatman]. Parmatma is another name of God. Human body is a vehicle designed by higher consciousness so that it can function on this Earth.

CONCLUSION:-

Science which started with a belief that everything one believes should be scientifically verifiable is now on threshold of uncertainty. Quantum physics which deals with physics of sub atoms itself works on principle of probabilistic surmises. It acknowledges matter is not reality, what exists in reality is intelligence. Is this compatible with their mathematical expression?

Science could take some solace from Hinduism. Hindu’s say this universe is an illusion [Maya], what exists is cosmic soul---Super consciousness, which they call God who creates this Universe. Science also nowadays believe world we live in could be a Hologram [Maya of Hindu’s]. We are part of this hologram, not observers of this hologram. Science today talks that in future mankind could be living in different world. There will cell phones with flexible intelligent screens, Augmented reality, Owner’s manual of one’s body ,Urine in bath room will fore warn of disease. Bath room will have chip which will do all medical checkup. Robot’s in future will have intelligence. Invisibility, Teleportation, Telepathy, Mind reading possible. Brain of a person could be connected to Lap top. By sheer thought one could send mail. In distant future star ship and space travel possible, even talking to departed possible.

If one runs through Puranic stories one encounters space ships [Vimanah’s in hindi], Space travel, Saints with double bodies [at two places at same time], Levitating saints defying gravity, Mind readers and Time travelers.

Don’t you find similarities in futuristic science and near forgotten wisdom of Vedic Civilization? I leave it to reader to make his conclusions. I will end this write up with extract from Agastha  purana where in one  is told, “ONE  can at a particular  focal point dissolve in to five primary elements and travel in space and then at same focal point reform in to same being”. A wild thought or a truth ??.

Time of Yugas

According to Bhagvat Puran time frame of Cosmology of Universe and Yug’s is as follows:-

Life of Brahma-----100 years.

Each of Brahma day-----4,320,000,000 years

Each Brahma day has---1000 cycles and each cycle has 71 divisions.

Each division has 4 Yugas and each Yuga has 14 MANVANTRAS. Present Manu is Vaivasvat. We are in 57^th year of Brahma. Each Yug has four sub divisions which are as follows:-

1. Satya Yug duration-------4800x360=1,720,000 years.

2. Treta Yug duration-------3600x360=1,296,000 years.

3. Dwarpar Yug duration---2400x360=864,000 years.

4. Kali Yug duration---------1200x360=432,000 years

We are presently in Kali yug. Jains, Greeks Zoroastrians believed in cycle of 12000 years only. Even in laws of Manu and Mahabharata 12000 year cycle is mentioned. Yukteswar in his book “Holy Science”, 1894 maintains cycle is of 12000 years only. He states in his book 12000 years in ascending and 12000 years in descending phase of cycle making a complete yug of 24000 years which is very close to period Sun takes to  cover all Zodiac signs backwards[25765 years]. He maintains multiplying yuga period by 360[1 Deva=360 earth year] is not needed. He further states this was done to inflate time zone. By this reckoning we are in ascending phase of Kali yug which will end on 2025AD, Then there will be a transition period of 300 years, after which a new yug will start[Ascending phase of Dwarpara yug].

Saptrishi calendar which is of 2700 year [100 years/ Nakhatra] duration starts afresh with new yuga.

Presently Saptrishi calendar is 5088[3076BC] which is very close to kali yug date of3676BC, date of Lord Krishna’s ascent from earth. Saptrishi calendar was used by Hindus in Maurya and Gupta period.

There is intense debate amongst scholars regarding time period of 4 yuga’s as mentioned in Bhagvat. Bhagvat Puran time frame of yuga’s could at cosmic level, at lower level[ Earth] it could be just 24000 year complete cycle as mentioned by Yuktaswar and many others. Even Aryabatha agrees with 3000 year/cycle, a total of 12000 years.

 

Maya and Holographic Universe

"I am not located in space but space is located in me---Lord Krishna in Holy Gita"

Is this world real or unreal, depends on from what point of reference the question is asked. From the point of view of carpet seller, carpet is real. But from point of view of chemist, there is no material called carpet.

Maya is neither real nor unreal. It is not real because it ceases to exist when Brahman is realized.Maya is cause of Creation, Brahman is the nominal cause for Creation.It is also substantial cause and undifferentiated cause for Creation. Veil caused by Maya is of two types—one covering truth and other is projection [appearing to be true]. Creator is both intelligent and material cause of this Universe. He cannot be outside UNIVERSE, because then He will have to create outside Universe. He cannot be inside Universe as it will be limited by creation. So He and creation cannot be separated. If creation is infinite, so must be Creator. Vedanta says consciousness is Brahman. Objects in world are made of electrons, protons, neutrons assembled in different ways. Essentially we come to a limiting case where observations of the material content depend on observer, a conscious entity. The implication is---that investigation of fundamental blocks of Universe is futile unless one takes in to consideration the role of CONSCIOUSNESS.

Now let us examine what science/ Quantum physics says about this issue:-

It is senses which make our external world. Brain does not encounter original matter but receives its electric signals. Brain converts these waves in to particles which form images and projects reality out to perceive. We then watch this colorful world inside our dark brain. Our body too is an image formed by our brain. Human brain creates reality out of electric waves it receives from external world. It translates these waves in to a holographic physical reality to be seen/perceived by us. Brain is like movie projector and this Universe a holographic projection around earth.

Electrons which are building blocks of what we call reality are not solid particles at all but exist as waves. Nature of electron changes when we look at it or try to measure it. It changes from wave to particle in a specific location in space and time.—which is what we see a reality. It also means world which we do not see/observe is a flowing Quantum Soup. It freezes when we look at it and turns it in to reality.

This universe is three dimensional projection of two dimensional reality behind it. This Universe is a holographic representation around this earth. We are part of this hologram, not looking at hologram. Quantum physics states Consciousness is playing a role in this Universe

CONSCIOUSNESS-------FIELD-----------BRAIN--------REALITY [a 3Dmovie we perceive]

It is Consciousness which chooses specific wave frequencies from field which go to our Brain. Brain converts these frequencies in space/ time to particles and out pops out holographic reality which we perceive. We have free will to react but cannot create.

From the above one can find close similarities between scientific views and Vedantic views of this beautiful world we see

Krishna---Myth or History

Ancient Indian history is full of confusion. There were people [Indologists] who doubted India’s past. They believed that India was inhabited by Nomads, called it a land of snake charmers, and fixed arbitrarily Indian history around 500BC-600BC. With finds of Harapa and Mohenjodaro in early twentieth century, these dates needed to be re-fixed by them. A theory of Aryan invasion from central Asia was invented to fit into scheme of things to come. Two civilizations had flourished in India before 600BC. One civilization now called Indus Valley Civilization [IVC] and other Vedic civilization. Indus civilization is believed to have been there from 3300BC—1300BC.This civilization matured by 1900BC and suddenly collapsed by 1300BC.It was postulated that Aryans entered India from central Asia in 1500BC. They conquered locals and formed a mighty civilization in 100 years and fought Mahabharata war in 1400BC.This civilization was labeled Vedic civilization and it finished in 600BC. It is interesting to note that Aryans who were nomads, came from outside, destroyed a well settled people and formed a civilization in just 100 years. This is unbelievable. This theory of invasion is highly disputed now .Rather Aryans were indigenous, who developed a mighty civilization------Vedic civilization. This civilization matured over a period of a few thousand years, not a few hundred years.

Are Mahabharata and Ramayana myths or historical realities? If we do a serious study of Bhagvat Puran and other related literature, one can make a reasonable guess of time of events. In Bhagvat many events described are linked with position of planets. On studying Astronomy, Genecology, Inscriptions, Archeological finds and continued traditions coupled with satellite imagery and carbon dating one can surmise dates of events mentioned with confidence. Drying of Saraswati river has already been confirmed by satellite imagery and local excavations. Submerged Dwarka found in Gujarat has been dated 1500BC [Rao, marine archeologist]. Historian B.B.Lal has given 5700BC---1400BC as time period for Lord Krishna. He also asserted that texts available were not writing of contemporary events.

Various other dates given are:-

Mahabharata war---3711BC ,Kali Yug---3676BC.  This is based on old Saptarishi calendar and yug cycles.

Mahabharata war-----2449BC by Kalahana, Varahmira

Mahabharata war---1400BC Indologists, date highly disputed now?

Professor Achar of Memphis University after studying planetary positions as mentioned in Bhagvat mentions date of 3067BC for Mahabharata war.

Kali yug dated 17/18^th Feb 3012BC by Aryabatha is disputed by Brahmgupt telling Arybatha erred in calculating time in consonance with planetary position mentioned in Bhagvat. He agrees with dates mentioned in Bhagvat.

There are writers who have even stated that between Parikshit and Nanda dynasty there elapsed 1050 years. Coins of Lord Krishna and Balrama have been found in Kabul, date 300BC, giving weightage to their historical presence. Sanderson Beck in his book “Literature of India” says Ramayana and Mahabharata could have occurred around 12000BC—10000BC. Pilny and Arrian, greek historians even identified 154 kings from Lord Rama to Chandergupt [321BC].

From above one can easily state that Lord Rama and Lord Krishna are historical figures and not mythological characters. Dates may go up or down but reality is  that Lord Krishna has been a historical figure. Many of events associated with Him can be just stories.

 

Kashmir and Kashmiri Pandit

In 1^st millennium, Kashmir became important center for Hinduism and of Buddhism; later still in the ninth century, Kashmir Shaivism arose. In 1349AD Shah Mir became first Muslim ruler of Kashmir. FOR next five centuries, Muslim monarchs ruled Kashmir including Mughals who ruled from 1526—till1751AD, Then Afghans ruled till 1820AD. Sikhs followed by Dogras, ruled till 1947AD. After independence from British Kashmir became disputed land and has been ruled by India, Pakistan, China [Aksai chin and Trans Karakoram tract].

Word Kashmir is an ancient Sanskrit word which literally means Land of Kashyap. Kashyap  Rishi, one of the Sapt Rishi’s, was a Sarsawat Brahman. Kashmiri Pandits are his descendants. According to NILMAT PURAN, Kashmir was a huge lake called SATISAR. This lake was drained by Kashypa, Son of Marichi, Son of Brahma, by cutting the gap in the hills at Baramulla[Varhamulla]. Kashypa asked Brahmins to settle at the place. There is a legend that theses Brahmins [Aryans] who settled in valley displaced local inhabitants [nagas, peshachas]. An agreement was reached between these Aryans and local inhabitants, where by locals settled in forests. Like we have thanks giving ceremony in USA for local natives Indians, we have same sort of ceremony at Kashmir, called Kichdi Amavasaya. Over a period this thanks giving ceremony was reduced to cooking Kichidi and offering it symbolically to Nagas and Peshchas by keeping Kichdi outside house at a suitable platform , a practice done even today.

Kashmir became one of the major centre for Sanskrit scholars. According to Mahabarata, the Kambojas ruled Kashmir during epic period from a capital city called Rajapura[present day Rajouri]. Later Panchals ruled Kashmir, Peer Panchal mountain range was so named by Panchals. According to Kalahana, first king mentioned by him is Gonanda 1[653KALI ERA], Traditional date of coronation of king Yudhshitra, eldest brother of Pandavas. Rajtarangni written by Pandit Kalahana was written around middle of 12^th century. Jonraja, Srivara and Prajnia Bhatt completed this historical chronicle till Akbar’s time, 1588AD. Mauryan rule was followed by Kushan rule in valley. Kanishka was famous ruler of kushan dynasty. A Buddhist conference was held in Kashmir during his rule at present day Harwan. This conference was presided by a Kashmiri hindu Vasumitra. Hien Tsang from china also attended this conference. Buddhism prospered in valley during Kushan period.

In 600AD Kashmir was again ruled by a hindu king of Karakota dynasty.  From this dynasty emerged Lalita Ditya Mukhtapid, a great Kashmir conqueror. Lalitaditya defeated Kanauj king and conquered North India, Gujarat, Malawa  and Sindh .In north he conquered Ladakh and Tibet. He ruled between 724AD ---761AD. Art and culture were greatly supported by him and his son Jayatida.  Lalitaditya had capital near Khir Bhawani . Martand temple was built by him. Around 855AD---856AD Karakota rule ended. This rule was followed by Utpal dynasty. Most important ruler of this dynasty was Maharaja Avanti  Varman. It was he who recovered Kashmir from utter political and economic disorder. His reign witnessed peace and  prosperity. His capital city was Avantipur which he embellished with two temples---one dedicated to lord SIVA and other to lord VISHNU. Suya, an engineer in this period was instrumental in saving valley of repeated floods. Avantivarman was succeeded by his son in 883AD.

After the eclipse of Utpal rule, Lohara dynasty ruled Kashmir. It was during the rule of queen Didda that Gaznavi twice tried to capture valley but fort at Lohara proved impregnable. Queen Didda later transmitted power to son of her brother, Udairaj. From 1089AD---1101AD KING Harsha ruled .It is during Harsha’s period rebellion arose because of his misdeeds. He was killed along with his son. When Kalahana completed his Rajtarangni in 1149AD—1150AD, king Jaisimha, hindu king was ruling Kashmir. Jaisimha ruled till 1155AD. From 1155AD---1339AD rulers in valley remained busy with intrigues, debauchery ,incessant feuds and valley fell prey to foreign rule. A weak and worthless raja Sahadeva was ruler when ferocious Mongol Dulucha ravaged valley and helped in ending hindu raj. It is is during this period three adventurers, Shah Mir from Swat ,Rinchin from Ladakh ,Lankar Chak from DARD ,Gilgistan came to Kashmir and played significant role in subsequent Kashmir history.

Shah Mir who was a minister to a hindu king, seized power after death of this king. He is even reported to have forcibly married widow of king. Rinchin organized a rebellion and seized throne. He converted to Islam as Brahmins refused him in hindu fold. This enraged Rinchin who not only embraced Islam but started brutalities against Brahmins. Brief time table of Muslim rule is as follows:-

Sultanate rule----1346AD—1586AD

Moghul rule-----1587AD-1752AD

Afgan rule------1752AD---1819AD

Sikh rule------1819AD---1846AD

Dogra rule----1846AD—1947AD.

Muslim rulers by and large were ruthless to Hindus of valley. They forced conversions and harsh laws on Hindus. This forced emigration of Hindu population from valley. Two kings need to be mentioned here in whose time brutalities peaked; one is Sikander Butshikan and other Aurang zeb. Sikandar Butshikan ordered all temples in Kashmir to be thrown down. Sikander ruled from 1389AD----1413AD.

A state of Hindu majority over a period has been converted in to a near Hindu less state. What a human tragedy!! Kashmiri pandits [KP”s] who gave birth to a state, a philosophy to live, nurtured human brotherhood are today finding themselves on verge of extinction. Big question, why?

From ancient to Islamic rule one can see that Kashmiri Pandits developed valley both materially and spiritually. Sanskrit flourished in valley. Shaivism and Mahayana Buddhism are other contributes of KPs. People from other parts of world especially Southeast Asia, China came to Kashmir for learning.

Once Muslims came to power in Kashmir miseries of KPs started. This state of affairs continued till Afghan rule. KPs got respite from these atrocities in Sikh and Dogra rule. If Sikhs and Dogras did not treat Muslims well, why blame KPs? It was hoped that in independent India, KPs will have bright future, but no? Forceful conversions were replaced by harsh laws. With one stroke of pen KPs were deprived ownership of lands they owned. KPs which were over 5% OF VALLEY POPULATION IN 1947 WITH 20% EMIGRATING OUTSIDE STATE reached to low percentage of 2% by 1990.Various state govts in power enacted laws to deprive KPs college admissions and jobs under one pretext or another. With land already taken away from them and jobs not getting, slow exodus of KPs started from 1947 onwards. Those living in valley faced all sorts of harassment in day today life.. It was because of their living subdued life that kept them afloat in valley, not because of Muslim brotherhood as claimed by some.

Another bout of vandalism started in1986, this time in Southern Kashmir, Anantnag. Temples were destroyed and KPs were harassed to the extent that they started moving outside valley for safety. Then came 1990, a call was given from mosques, in Newspapers asking KPs to leave valley or face death. Hundreds of KPs were brutally killed and hundreds of temple destroyed/ vandalized, some in remote areas were forcibly converted. This started mass exodus of KPs from valley. KPs got scattered all over India, though main chunk stayed back at Jammu. It was hoped central Govt will come to rescue of KPs but all in vain .Central Govt was more interested in keeping itself in power than helping KPs. Central Govt started appeasing Muslims at the cost KPs.How much KPs suffered during this exodus needs to be seen to be believed.In the name of ‘AZADI’ There has been ethnic cleansing of valley more appreciated by rest of world than by Indian Govt.This exodus can be compared to exodus of Israelis in MOSES time. But there is no one to highlight this modern exodus of KPs having been already abandoned by both state and central govt. Indian public at large has been mute spectator to this tragedy, With some lip sympathies by a few. India claiming to be largest democracy in world failed to protect life and property of KPs’. What a shame!! The day is not far off when world will read about KPs and their fate in history books only.

In the end I want to remind reader about an editorial which appeared in Daily MARTAND published in valley in 1950.Editorial was about future of KP. Narration in article read as follows:---

 

A youth is arrested in valley on charges of causing disturbance in neighbourhood and brought to court.

Judge to youth: ---WHY do you cause disturbance in neighborhood?

Youth to Judge: ---Sir, we were living in jungle, couple of dozen of us. Slowly people started dying. Now I am alone. I do not know what will happen to me, who will cremate me, so am frustrated.

Judge: ------Who are you?

Youth: -----I am KP.

Judge who was a young Muslim did not understand meaning of KP.Door man an elderly Muslim came to rescue of judge and said, sir his ancestors lived here, we drove them out long back.

A question remains, what KP did to be on list of endangered species? Species get extinct because of climatic changes, natural catastrophes or hit by a comet. What hit KP TO GET EXTINCT----?
