                                    WHY PROPAGANDA AGAINST HINDUISM?

     Various religions evolved in last 7000—10000 years. Some religions are lost to posterity but some have survived. Top three religions of world with maximum following are---Christianity, Islam and Hinduism. Judaism just has 14 Mil followers. Hinduism is being criticized right and left as Christians and Muslims feel endangered one’s. West is highly critical of India’s past as acknowledgment would mean that their beliefs will no longer be forerunners of human civilization. While talking of religions West talks of Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Hinduism with following of near 1bil followers, Buddhism with over50 Mil , Sikhism with 20 Mil followers are just ignored by West. This shows prejudice of West towards Hinduism. Some even say Hinduism is no religion at all. Abrahamic religions have reduced religion to a set of beliefs with no experiential dimensions. Conflict in this world is, one belief v/s another belief. Organizers of Abrahamic religions are trying to prove superiority of their beliefs.

Ancient India historical review:--

To negate India’s past west invented “Aryan invasion theory”. Proponent of this theory was Max Muller, a Christian missionary. It was postulated that Aryans came from central Asia to India in 1500BC. They defeated locals and established themselves here. It was also claimed India was land of snake charmers and had no worthy civilization. All literature including traditional history was labelled myth. It is only  after Marshall excavated ruins of Mohenjo Daro and Harrapa in 1920 that west was forced to recognize that India had a significant past. This excavation at Mohenjodaro and Harappa established that India had a thriving urbanized civilization way back in 3300BC. This civilization either was either contemporary to Egypt/Mesopotamia civilization or preceded them by 100—200 years. For western writers it was extremely difficult to fit in time frame for Ramayana and Mahabharata. They had to fit it after 1500BC . Then they said Mahabharata war was fought in 1400BC and said Ramayana is not historical. They tried to fit Vedic literature around 250BC. This chronology of events falls apart when Aryan invasion theory  now stands refuted. Aryans were Indian people has even been proved genetically. It has now been proved that European genes are derivatives of gene N which originated from India. Now a days not only Aryan invasion theory stands debunked but there is recognition of ancient Vedic civilization prior to Indus valley civilization. Dates suggested are:--

1.Beginning of Vedic/ INDUS CIVILIZATION-----6000BC—5000BC.

2.Tilak , historian gives vedic civilization-----8000BC---4000BC.

3. Chandler puts Indus civilization---7000BC—6500BC.

4. Rigveda –Oldest book on planet is now dated between 3000BC---6000BC.

Dev Dutt wants you to believe that Ramayana and Mahabharata  are just stories. He says they are not historical but part of mythology. This is what Macaulay wanted Indians to believe. FOR the information of Dev Dutt and people like him I want to tell them there is enough proof now that Ramayana and Mahabharata were historical. Using planetarium software Bhatnagar dates Lord Rama 5114BC, WAR 5076BC. Professor Achar of Memphis University using star positions mentioned in Bhagwat Puran dates Mahabharata 3067BC. David Frawley puts 6500—3100BC, PERIOD FOR EARLY Vedic civilization. Sanderson Beck dates Ramayana and Mahabharata between 12000—10000. BBLal , historian puts Krishna between 5700BC---1400BC. Even Varahimira puts Mahabharata war at 2449BC . Ram Setu  is  not a geographical event but man made  bridge. This bridge is still there but submerged in water. True lot of puranic stories got attached with main historical events. So EPICS we have today is mix of history and Puranic stories. Even subsequent authors added their own stuff to make Epics immortal. Variation in dates is due to different tools used by authors but one thing is certain that events are historical, details are additions.

HINDU bashing:--

With such illustrious past, yet we see India in foot notes of world history. Reason, west does not want to acknowledge India’s glorious past. It invented Aryan invasion theory and demonized Sanskrit language. This Aryan invasion theory now stands as a biggest bluff in human history. To rule India Britishers developed a doctrine:-

             “Make local interpreters in India who think like us but look like them”.

To put this formula in practice they selected students, gave them free English education and even send them abroad. These students would later tell local Indians that Traditional history is a  MYTH, RITUALS/CUSTOMS  are just superstitions. In this process Britishers did succeed to some extent. Even in free India we have these “Local interpreters” like Ashis , Meera  Nanda , Devdutt to name a few. These writers tell you Vedic science is a pseudoscience and traditional history is a myth. This is despite the fact that now west has started recognizing Vedic science. Contribution of Vedic science in modern science is tremendous especially in Math and Cosmology. Karl Sagan, astrophysicist says, “Hinduism is only religion in which time scales match to modern cosmology”. L0uis Jacolliot says, “Hindu revelation[Vedas] is of all revelations the only whose ideas  are in perfect harmony with modern science…”.Hagelin compares, the science and technology of unified field theory of Vedas and modern physics. “Dean Brown tells us about Sanskrit language,” the most scientific, ancient and spiritual”. Dev Dutt claims himself a authority on Vedas and Puranas. He even runs Tv channel ,”Devlok”. He tells you Ramayana and Mahabharata are myths despite available  evidence of their historicity. His writings are full of inaccuracies. faulty etymology and distortions. His interpretations are absurd. This pseudo scholarship has harmed Hindu cause, even created identification crisis in Hindus in India. Such writers denigrate Indian culture and Literature and are helping Hindu bashers in West.

     It is not only west which is indulging in propaganda against Hinduism but Muslims too are in race. Muslims call Hindus—“Kaffir”, a derogatory word.  They advocate that their beliefs are superior to Hindus, hence need to be accepted. If not accepted they can go to any extend, even killing. In this endeavor they are helped by our western minded writers. These writers even coined a word “Hindu Terrorist”, a word nonexistent in Hindu vocabulary. They started labelling Hindus as intolerant. Fact of matter is, because of Hindu tolerance Islam survived in India. Actors like Nasserudin Shah, Kamal Hassan are talking of Hindu intolerance and Hindu terrorism. Sita Ram Yachuri[CPI] Is labelling Ramayana and Mahabharata as Hindu violence epics. Despite all these provocative statements Hindus have remained CALM. Does this calmness denote intolerance? Muslims instead of offering Babri site for Ram temple have resorted to agitate against temple in court. Ram Temple at AYODHYA is a matter of faith while mosque is just a place for prayer which can be easily relocated. May we ask Muslims in India who is causing Hindu-Muslim rift and who is intolerant? In Madrassas Muslim youth are told Hindu is Kaffir and enemy too. Why MUSLIM leaders are silent on these issues? India’s so called secular media encourages such divisive policies. It is Muslims of India which divided this great country in 1947 and they are bent to do more damage to this nation. Parties like Congress and Trinamool congress help such divisive elements for their political advantage. Muslims in India need to take lesson from a gesture when wife of sultan of Abu Dhabi put Ramayana on her head when she walked into temple in Abu Dhabi.

It is high time Hindus in India rise to occasion, see impending dangers ahead and take corrective measures.

Conclusion:--

    It has been conclusively proved that European genes are derivatives of gene N which originated from India. India has been cradle of human civilization. Vedic culture gave birth to religion called Sanatana Dharma , now called Hinduism. Hinduism does not demand blind faith but pursuit of TRUTH through dharma traditions. This religion unlike other religions has no single founder or a single book to follow. Its solution to pluralism is far superior to those of Abrahamic religions. Vedas are foundations of this Sanatana Dharma. In India philosophy provided reality, religion showed correct way of life. This Vedic civilization spread to South East Asia , Iran. Misinterpretation of Vedas by Christian missionaries needs to be corrected. Historical material in Puranas and Vedas needs to be analyzed and not ignored. Ancient dynasties which ruled in ancient times need to be given due place in history. Aryan invasion of India in 1500BC needs to be erased from history books. Acceptance of western interpretation of Vedas amounts to self-betrayal.

       Tolerance should not mean to accept false and distorted views. Indian intellectuals especially Hindus need to rise to occasion and correct wrong doings and put Indian ancient history at proper place.
.     When will we Indians come out of western phobia and   feel proud of our heritage, I,e, Vedic literature, rituals and customs and stop succumbing to out side pressures?
